For more than 25 years, Annette has been helping friends and family organize and decorate their homes. Her passion for design took root in childhood where she was constantly re-arranging and re-decorating her room. She has always had a passion for colors, fabrics, shapes and textures and putting these elements together came naturally to her. For Annette, incorporating a client's practical needs and wishes is where it all begins. Annette believes in high ethical standards and has an unprecedented work ethic. It is visible that the love to help others purely exists. Annette believes in total honesty and strives to fully meet the needs of her clients. She works in a non-judgmental, compassionate, and uplifting manner. She believes in being a team player and values respect for the opinion of others. Trust, loyalty, commitment, and a positive attitude are her prescription for life. Annette's passion for design has flourished since the early years. She is a certified designer from the Sheffield Interior Design School in Manhattan, New York. She is trained as a professional organizer and is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). She continues to broaden her knowledge by doing research, attending workshops and teaching classes. She has written numerous articles and has been published in the Vermont Home Style Magazine. Now, imagine that special place, where you are totally happy…calm…relaxed…you just can't wait to get home! The color in the room inspires you. You feel uplifted. You love being there. Annette's ultimate goal is to give you a space that reflects the way you want to live functionally and aesthetically, one that is comfortable and pleasing to you. Your environment should speak to you in a positive way that ultimately improves your health and happiness. This is what Annette strives to bring to you.
Ali joined Design Matters in February of 2009. She is a graduate of The New England School of Art & Design where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design. During her final semester at NESAD, and the summer following graduation, she worked at Webster & Company in the Boston Design Center doing high end furniture and lighting sales. After returning home to Vermont Ali started working part time as Annette's assistant. As time went on Annette and Ali became a strong design team and began taking on bigger projects together. With their passion for design and customer service their team work has proven to be very successful. |
